National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the Common University Entrance Test 2024 from March 11. As the exams are approaching, students' preparation is in full swing and during this time, it is important to pay attention to some essential information related to it. Take the test to avoid problems on the exam day. Here are some guidelines that you need to follow, including information about what to do, what not to do, what to bring, what not to keep, dress code etc. Pay attention to these important details.

Rules to be followed on the day of examination:

  • Detailed information regarding the specifics of the examination will be given on the admit card. Read it carefully before going to the exam.
  • Keep track of the reporting time and ensure that you reach the centre on time, that is 90 minutes before the exam.
  • Important instructions will be given in the examination hall, so make sure to arrive on time to avoid missing out. Keep in mind that being late may result in being out of the exam.
  • Carry your admit card and a valid photo ID, as failure to do so may bar you from appearing for the exam.
  • If a computer-based paper is provided, check that the paper matches the subjects you have chosen. In case of any problem, immediately inform the examination invigilator.
  • Apart from the admit card, also carry a printed copy of the self-declaration (undertaking). Download it from the NTA website
  • Carry a passport-size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet.
  • Carry a photo identity card with you. If you have any required certificate, such as PwD, bring it as well.
  • Follow the dress code, like wearing a light-coloured half-sleeved shirt or t-shirt with pants. Check detailed guidelines on the official website.
  • Avoid wearing shoes, belts, jewellery or heels. Apart from this, also avoid loose clothes.
  • Bring a clear water bottle, a small clear bottle of sanitiser, and a mask.
  • Do not keep any communication devices.
  • Do not bring a geometry box, pencil box, calculator, scale, pen drive or any similar item.
  • Avoid bringing food items and coloured water bottles.
