Dal Makhani is one such dish which is very much liked by all. You have made it special with Punjabi tadka. Today we have brought you the recipe for making Creamy Dal Makhani with Punjabi flavor. Let us know about the method of making it.
- 2/3 cup Whole Urad Dal (soaked)
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 2 tbsp Rajma (soaked)
- 2 Tomato puree
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- cup Fresh cream
- 1 cup butter
- salt to taste
Ingredients for Garnishing
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Few onion rings
- 1 piece of ginger (grated)
Method of preparation
- First of all, add urad, rajma, salt, and water as required in the cooker and cook it on low flame for 20 minutes.
After that take it off the flame.
When it cools down, churn it well with a churn.
After this, add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, tomato puree, and butter and cook for 10 minutes.
Then you have to put fresh cream in it and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Garnish with butter, onion rings, and ginger and serve with tandoori roti or phulka.
