Chaitra Navratri 2024: There is a huge crowd in this temple of Pakistan during Navratri, devotees come from many countries!

This temple of Pakistan gets the maximum crowd as compared to other temples. What sets this temple apart is that like in India, here at Hinglaj Mata Temple too the celebrations during Navratri are always grand. Often people think whether this temple is in India or Pakistan. During Navratri, events ranging from Garba to Kanya Bhoj are organized here.

The area where the Hinglaj temple is located is one of the largest Hindu-majority areas in Pakistan. A grand fair is also held here during Chaitra Navratri and a huge crowd gathers to seek the blessings of the goddess. Women come here to perform Garba and participate in rituals like havan and puja. Additionally, food is served to young girls and chants of devotion to the Goddess echo far and wide.

It is believed that the pilgrimage to Hinglaj is more challenging than the Amarnath Yatra. Still, people come here from far and wide to seek the blessings of the Goddess and during Navratri, the temple becomes so crowded that it becomes difficult to handle the crowd. Special arrangements are made during Navratri so that the devotees do not face any problems in having darshan.

There is no difference between Hindus and Muslims during Navratri in this temple. At times priests and volunteers can be seen wearing Muslim caps. Muslim brothers also stand together during the worship of the Goddess. Most of them are from Balochistan and Sindh. The temple is most crowded during the two Navratris. Thousands of devotees come to Hinglaj temple every day to have darshan of Mother Goddess.

People not only from Pakistan and Bangladesh but also from America and Britain participate in the worship in this temple. Hinglaj Temple is considered a Muslim 'Nani Baby's Hajj' or pilgrimage site, hence people from Afghanistan, Egypt and Iran also come here for darshan.
