CBSE 10th Exam 2024 is over, know when the results will come!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 examinations ended on March 13. CBSE Class 10 board exams started on February 15, 2024. Now, students are waiting for the declaration of the result. CBSE board exam results will be released on the official website cbse.gov.in. After the results are declared, students can check their results using their roll number and date of birth. Let us know when the CBSE 10th class results will be declared.

Last year, the board conducted the Class 10 exams from February 14 to March 21 and the results were declared on May 12. Whereas in 2022, CBSE Class 10 exams were conducted in two phases. Term 1 examinations were conducted in November–December and Term 2 examinations were conducted in May–June. CBSE declared the final result by combining the marks of both sessions on July 22. This year also, the result is expected to be declared in May.

How many students appeared in the examination last year?

Apart from India, the CBSE Class 10 exam was conducted in 26 countries. Last year, a total of 21,84,117 students registered for the Class 10 exam, out of which 21,65,805 students appeared for the exam. A total of 20,16,779 boys and girls were declared successful. The overall passing percentage was recorded at 93.12%.

CBSE will not release the list of toppers

Last year, CBSE did not release the list of toppers for class 10 and 12 board exams. This year also the board will not release the list of toppers. Like last time, the region-wise list will be published.

It is to be noted that the board has extended the deadline to conduct practical exams for Class 10. Schools that have not conducted the exams yet can conduct practical exams till March 31. All schools will have to upload the numbers of internal assessments etc. on the CBSE website by 31st March.
