Carrot grated - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Cumin - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic finely chopped - 2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Mint leaves - 1 tbsp
Green coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Green chilli - 1
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/2 tsp

Carrot Raita Recipe
To make carrot raita, first, wash and clean the carrots, then grate them. Now take a big mixing bowl and put curd in it. After this add cumin powder, black pepper powder and a little black salt to the curd and mix. Now add one-fourth cup of water to the curd and blend the curd well with the help of a churner. After this add green coriander leaves, finely chopped green chillies and grated carrots to the curd and mix.
Now start the process of tempering the raita. For this, put oil in a small pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add cumin, garlic and asafoetida and fry for some time.
