Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made important changes in one of its affordable plans, which will have a direct impact on millions of its users. Actually, the company has reduced the validity of its Rs 99 plan. Due to this, users using this plan will now find it more expensive than before.

BSNL quietly increases plan prices:

Although users will still have to spend Rs 99 for BSNL's plan, now they will get less validity, as a result of which they will have to spend more money for this plan than before. Earlier BSNL's Rs 99 plan had a validity of 18 days, but now users will get only 17 days validity. BSNL has not made any changes in the price of this plan, but by reducing the validity, they have effectively increased the daily cost of this plan.

Earlier, BSNL users used to have to pay Rs 5.50 per day for this plan, but now they will have to pay Rs 5.82. Therefore we can say that BSNL has increased the price of this plan. This plan offers unlimited voice calling to the users. It is worth noting that users do not get any data benefit or any other benefit in this plan.

Will the plans of all companies become expensive?

This plan is only for those who need a recharge plan primarily for calling rather than internet data. Now such users will find BSNL's plan more expensive, but most of the users do not pay much attention to it because the total price of their plan remains Rs 99. This is a silent way of increasing the price of any recharge plan.

It is worth noting that recently Airtel has also increased the prices of its two recharge plans. Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal said in an interview that telecom companies will have to increase the prices of recharge plans to survive in the industry. In such a situation, it seems that in the coming time, Jio, Vodafone Idea, and Airtel may also increase the prices of many other plans.
