Under this scheme of the Uttar Pradesh state government, financial assistance of Rs 50,000 is given at the time of birth of daughters of BPL families. This money is given for the better future of girls. Along with this, money is given according to the class to further the education of girls. If the daughter reaches class 6, then Rs 3000 will be given, under UP Bhagya Laxmi Yojana, if she reaches class 8, Rs 5000, if she reaches class 10, then Rs 7000 and if she reaches class 12, Rs 8000 will be given.

Bhagya Laxmi Scheme Benefits

• A bond of Rs 50 thousand is given on the birth of a daughter.
• The bond matures in 21 years and is worth Rs 2 lakh.
• For the upbringing of the daughter, the mother gets a separate amount of Rs 5100 at the time of birth.
• An assistance of Rs 3,000 is given when the girl enters class 6.
• Rs 5,000 is given in class 8.
• 7 thousand rupees are given in the tenth class.
• 8 thousand rupees were deposited in the daughter's account on the 12th.
• In this way, the Uttar Pradesh government provides a total assistance of Rs 23 thousand during the daughter's education.

If you are eligible for UP Bhagya Laxmi Yojana, then first of all you have to go to your nearest Common Service Center i.e. E-Mitra Center. You will not have to pay any fee for registration in Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana. Registration is absolutely free. If we talk about documents, then it is mandatory for you to have a residence certificate from Uttar Pradesh, the birth certificate of your daughter, the Aadhar card of your parents, an income certificate, a home address certificate, and bank account details.
