Bank Holiday 2024: Banks will remain locked for so many days in April, list of holidays released..

When will banks remain closed in April?
1 April 2024: Whenever the financial year ends, the bank has to close the account for the entire financial year. Due to account closing on 1st April in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Lucknow, Mumbai. Banks will remain closed in, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, and Thiruvananthapuram.
5 April 2024: Banks will remain closed in Telangana, Jammu, and Srinagar on the occasion of Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday and Jummat-ul-Vida.
9 April 2024: Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, and Srinagar on the occasion of Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and first Navratri.
10 April 2024: Will remain closed in Kochi and Kerala due to Eid.
11 April 2024: Due to Eid, many banks will remain closed across the country (EID bank holiday), but banks of Chandigarh, Gangtok, Imphal, Kochi, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram will remain open.
15 April 2024: Banks of Guwahati and Shimla will remain closed due to Himachal Diwas.
17 April 2024: Ram Navami is on 17 April. On the occasion of Ram Navami, banks will not open in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.

Let us tell you that banks remain closed on Sunday, the second Saturday, and the fourth Saturday of every month. In April, all banks in the country will remain closed on April 7 (Sunday), April 13 (second Saturday), April 14 (Sunday), April 21 (Sunday), April 27 (fourth Saturday) and April 28 (Sunday).
