Ingredients of Badam Halwa
Boiled and peeled almonds - 300 grams
Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
Saffron - 8 threads
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
How to make Halwa
To make Badam Halwa, you have to soak almonds overnight. After this, peel the almonds and grind them in a grinder jar. To make a thick paste, add 2 teaspoons of milk to it.
After this, you have to put a deep bottom pan on the gas on medium flame. Add ghee to it and let it heat up. Then add the almond paste to it. Cook the almond paste till golden brown, while stirring well.
Add the remaining milk along with the sugar in the pan and cook for about 10 minutes. After this, remove the pan from the flame and sprinkle saffron and some cardamom powder over it. Serve hot.
