There are many beneficial and welfare schemes running in the country, which aim to provide assistance to the people living in urban and rural areas. Government schemes mainly focus on providing benefits to the economically weaker and needy sections of society. One such example is the Ayushman Bharat scheme run by the central government, with the participation of several state governments. This health scheme attempts to benefit underprivileged and economically deprived individuals. What's the plan?

This scheme is known as Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

It is specially designed to meet the needs of those working in the unorganized sector.

The central government oversees the implementation of this scheme.

Benefits of the scheme :

Under this scheme, eligible individuals are issued Ayushman cards, allowing them to avail of free medical treatment up to Rs five lakh in empanelled hospitals.

The government bears the entire cost of treatment.

Persons eligible for this scheme include:

Homeless or tribal population.

Landless person.

Those who live in temporary houses.

Daily labourer.

People living in rural areas.

Families with disabled members, and much more.

How to apply for the Scheme:

step 1:

To get an Ayushman card made, first of all, you have to go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

At the centre, individuals provide the required documents for verification by the concerned authorities.

Step 2:

After this, your eligibility is checked and the rest of the work

is also done. Then when everything is found correct, the process of your application is completed.
