The biggest danger in ATMs is due to card cloning. Card cloning means that someone steals your complete information and creates another card for you.

This is how your details can be stolen-

Hackers steal any user's data from the card slot in the ATM machine.

They install such a device in the card slot of the ATM machine, which scans the complete information of your card.

After this, they steal your data through Bluetooth or any other wireless device.

These things should be kept in mind-
(1) To gain complete access to your debit card, hackers must have your PIN number. Hackers can track the PIN number with a camera. To avoid this, whenever you enter your PIN number in the ATM, hide it with your other hand. So that its image cannot be captured in the CCTV camera.

(2) When you go to the ATM, look carefully at the card slot of the ATM machine. If you feel that the ATM card slot has been tampered with or the slot is loose or there is some other problem then do not use it.

(3) While inserting the card in the card slot, pay attention to the light burning in it. If the green light is burning in the slot then the ATM is safe. But if red or any other light is not burning in it then do not use the ATM. There may be something wrong with it.

(4) If you ever feel that you have fallen into the trap of hackers and the bank is also closed, then you should immediately contact the police. This is because there you will find the fingerprints of the hacker. You can also see whose Bluetooth connection is working around you. With this, you can reach that person.
