Bamboo Plant:

According to Vastu Shastra, it is considered auspicious to bring a bamboo plant into the house on the day of Holika Dahan. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi is pleased by bringing a bamboo plant.

Silver Coins

Just as silver coins are kept in the house on Diwali to please Goddess Lakshmi, similarly bringing silver coins in the house on Holi is also considered auspicious. It is believed that this removes financial problems and ensures a prosperous life.

Metal Tortoise:

According to tradition, the tortoise is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, bringing a metal tortoise home on the day of Holi, especially one with Kuber Yantra or Shree Yantra on its back, is considered auspicious. It is believed that this practice pleases Goddess Lakshmi, bringing prosperity and wealth.



Door Toran

Traditionally, the ashes of Holika Dahan are considered auspicious. Therefore, it is believed that spreading ashes around the main entrance of the house and decorating it with mango or Ashoka leaves removes negative energy. Additionally, it is believed that tying a Toran made of mango leaves pleases Goddess Lakshmi, thereby bringing happiness, peace and prosperity into one's life.
