HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)

This virus weakens the immune system (defence mechanism) in a person's body, making the body susceptible to various infections and diseases. If HIV is not treated on time, it can develop into AIDS, which can be a life-threatening condition.

Herpes

It is a lifelong infection and can become active again once infected.
