Another chance to apply for police constable posts, apply by this date!

Haryana Staff Selection Commission has extended the last date of application for the post of Police Constable. Now candidates can apply by visiting the official website of HSSC hssc.gov.in till 28th March. The previous last date to apply was March 21. The Commission has also issued a notification regarding this extension. Additionally, registered candidates can make corrections in their application forms from March 22 to March 28.

Haryana Police has invited applications for 6000 vacancies of Police Constable. Of these, 5000 posts are for male constables (General Duty) and 1000 posts are for female constables (General Duty). Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 21,700 under Level 3.

Who can apply?

Candidates who have passed the 12th class, both male and female, can apply for the Police Constable post. Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. Applicants' age should be between 18 to 25 years. Age will be calculated from February 1, 2024. Additionally, candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected for Police Constable posts in multiple stages, which include Eligibility Test, PMT, PST, etc. The Commission has not yet announced the date of the recruitment exam, but the pattern of the exam has been released along with the advertisement.
