8 medium potatoes
for the yogurt mixture
10 grams ginger paste, 20 grams garlic paste, 3 grams red chili powder, 6 grams coriander powder, 125 grams curd
90 g desi ghee, 4 green cardamoms, cashew nuts roasted, salt, 1 tsp green cardamom powder, 1.5 g black pepper powder, 1 pinch nutmeg powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, 3 tbsp dairy cream, coriander leaves
Wash, peel the potatoes, and cut them in half.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry till the potatoes turn golden brown.
Mix all the spices and keep aside.
Put desi ghee in a pan and keep it on medium flame.
Add green cardamom to it and keep stirring it continuously so that its water dries up and the oil separates.
Add curd mixture to it. Stir it and fry till the oil separates.
Add cashew paste to it and fry continuously. Now add potatoes to it. Simultaneously add salt, one cup of water, cardamom, black pepper, and nutmeg powder and cover and cook on low flame for another 5 minutes.
Add lemon juice to it and cook for one more minute.
Add cream to it and remove it from the flame. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
