Aloo Chaat Recipe: Make spicy potato chaat at home, taste such that you will keep licking your fingers!


Everyone likes the taste of spicy potato chaat in the market. But you can also make it at home. Today in this episode we are going to tell you how to make it.

Necessary ingredients

- 5 potatoes (boiled and cut into big pieces)

- half tsp garam masala powder

- 1 tsp whole cumin seeds

- oil as required

- half tsp roasted cumin powder

- salt as per taste

Ingredients for green chutney (grind all ingredients with little water)

- 1 cup green coriander

- 5 green chilies

- half cup mint -

juice of one lemon

- a small piece of ginger

- 1 tablespoon peanuts

- salt as per taste

- half a teaspoon of sugar


Ingredients for Garnishing

- A few grains of pomegranate

- Chaat masala as per taste

- A little fine sev

- A little green coriander (chopped)


Heat oil in a pan and add a dash of whole cumin seeds inside it.

Then add boiled potatoes and salt inside it and fry till it becomes golden. Then you have to mix cumin powder and garam masala powder in it and remove it from the gas.

When it cools down, add roasted potatoes and green chutney as per taste to the serving dish and mix well.

After this, garnish it with sev and pomegranate seeds.

Serve sprinkled with chaat masala and green coriander.
