You can also prepare a delicious snack for evening tea from masoor dal and that is cutlets. After eating these crunchy cutlets of lentils, everyone will say wow.

Stuff :

1 cup whole masoor dal, 2 boiled potatoes, 1 cup paneer, 4-5 mint leaves, finely chopped coriander leaves, 1/4 cup gram flour, oil as required, 2 finely chopped green chilies, 1-inch ginger grated, 1 tsp garam masala, tsp red chili powder, tsp amchur, 1 tsp coriander powder, tsp roasted cumin, salt to taste

Method :

  • Soak the masoor dal in water for 6-7 hours.
  • After this time has elapsed, put it in the cooker and cook it with 1/4 cup of water for 1 whistle.
  • Now drain the water from the dal and separate it.
  • Now take boiled potatoes in a bowl. Add grated cheese to it as well as boiled lentils.
  • Now it is the turn of the spices. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dried mango powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger, finely chopped green chilies, green coriander, mint, and gram flour, and mix everything well. Tikki mixture is ready.
  • If you want, deep fry it or shallow fry it. It will look good in both forms.
  • Cook till golden brown from both sides.
  • Tasty Tikki of masoor dal is ready to serve.
  • Apart from tomato ketchup, it can also be served with coriander-mint green chutney.
