Aadhaar Card Update: Change your Aadhaar for free! UIDAI extended the deadline!

The Central Government has provided the facility of free change in Aadhar Cards. This facility was provided till September 14, 2023. Aadhar card holders who have completed 10 years can update their Aadhar for free under this scheme. Earlier the Central Government had set a time limit for this. The last date for Aadhaar update was June 14. It was extended till September. Citizens again demanded an extension of this deadline. After which now the Unique Identification Authority of India has extended this deadline. After September 14, citizens can change their Aadhar card for free. Citizens have to update their address and demographic details in their Aadhaar after 10 years of their Aadhaar card. Such citizens must take advantage of this facility.
Update for free by this date
Earlier the facility of free update in Aadhar card was given till June 14. This deadline was extended. This deadline was extended till 14 September. After which citizens are allowed free updates through myAadhaar portal till 14 December 2023. Citizens reacted strongly to this plan. It was told that due to the request, the decision to extend the deadline was taken. Citizens can update their Aadhaar documents for free on the myAadhaar website.

Change after 10 years
Aadhar card is considered a very important proof. An Aadhaar card is required for many government and non-government jobs. The Unique Identification Authority of India issues guidelines regarding Aadhaar card updates from time to time. At present, if the Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old, the Aadhaar card can be updated for free.
Update on MyAadhaar Portal
Aadhaar card can be updated on the myAadhaar portal. Aadhaar card information can be updated online. Earlier such extension was given from 15 March to 14 June 2023, then till 14 September, and now till 14 December.

Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ of UIDAI.
Or login to https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/.
Login by entering 12 12-digit Aadhar card numbers and captcha codes.
Select the OTP option, and proceed further.
This OTP will be sent to the mobile number related to Aadhaar.
Enter the OTP and select the option 'Update Aadhaar Online'.
Select the option 'Proceed to Update Aadhaar', and fill in the information.
