White Sofa Cleaning Tips: - How to remove tea stains on a white sofa

The house looks beautiful from the sofa. Most people prefer to have a white sofa in their home because it makes the room look even more beautiful. But the white sofa does not get stained, it cannot happen. Especially tea and coffee stains get easily on it.

Remove stains with baking soda

Baking soda is considered very beneficial to remove any kind of stains. It is also called a cleaning agent because it has many such properties, which it is used in cleaning. If your white sofa is stained with tea, baking soda will come in very handy.

Just add a little water to 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda. Make a thick paste out of it. Then apply the paste to the stained area. Now leave it to dry. After at least half an hour wipe it off with a clean wet cloth. You will find that the stain is now gone. But if the stain does not go away in one go, then repeat this process.

Dish soap 

Dish soap is mostly used for washing dishes. But you can also remove stains from it. Simply add a little water to 2 teaspoons of dish soap in a bowl. After this, soak a cloth in it and rub it on the stained area for a while. Do this at least 2-3 times. Using dish soap will remove the stain. 

Bleach will work

Bleach is the most effective way to remove stains. Therefore it is used to remove stains from clothes or other things. But due to its excessive use, many times the fabric gets spoiled and the colour can also fly. So use bleach only in moderation. 

For this, mix 10 parts of water with 1 part bleach in a bowl. Mix it, then soak the paper towel in it. Now apply the towel to the stain. Stains are easily removed with the help of bleach. Your sofa will shine. 

Take special care of these things

• The stain cleaners available in the market contain chemicals. So do not use it on the sofa. This can damage the fabric of the sofa. 
• Often people make this common mistake that they do not remove the stain immediately. Whenever there is a stain, first of all, wipe the sofa with a wet cloth. It does not make the stains stubborn. 
• Clean according to the fabric of the sofa. Otherwise, the cloth may tear.
