Aadhaar card has become necessary for many facilities these days. You must have Aadhaar to take advantage of many government schemes and file income tax returns. Also, your Aadhaar should be linked to your mobile number. Because, if you do any financial transaction related to Aadhaar, then OTP will come for its verification. It comes on your registered mobile number or email ID only. That's why your mobile number should be registered on the UIDAI website.

If you want to use the mAadhaar app then it is mandatory to link your mobile number with your Aadhaar. If your mobile number has changed, OTP will not be sent to validate your Aadhaar. In this case, you need to change the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. You can link your existing mobile number with your Aadhaar. Today we are going to learn how to easily update your new mobile number in Aadhaar.

Register a new mobile number by following these steps

Visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Center in your area.

You will be given a form to link the phone number. This is called the Aadhaar Correction Form. Fill in the correct information.

Submit the filled form along with the fee of Rs 25 to the concerned officer.

After submitting the form you will be given a slip.

This slip will have an updated request number. Through this request number, you can check whether the new phone number is linked to your Aadhaar or not.

Your Aadhaar will be linked with the new mobile number within three months.

Once your Aadhaar is linked with the new mobile number, you will receive an OTP on the same number.

You can download your Aadhaar card online using that OTP.
