Utility: DA, DR, and HRA increased for government employees of this state, know the details


7th Pay Commission: The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 4 percent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for state government employees in line with the recommendations of the Central Pay Commission (CPC).


The employees will now get DA/DR from 34% to 38% with effect from July 1, 2022. This announcement will benefit 68,000 regular employees. Its estimated annual financial burden will be around Rs 120 crore.

State Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given to all government employees who do not have official accommodation from January 1, 2023. Its estimated annual financial impact will be around Rs 42 crore. CM Khandu further announced that non-practicing allowance (NPA) will be paid to government doctors.


Arunachal Govt led by Hon'ble CM Shri @PemaKhanduBJP has increased DADR from 34 to 4 to 38 with effect from 1st July 2022. Its estimated annual financial impact will be around Rs 120 crore. This announcement will benefit 68000 regular employees.

Arunachal CMO said- “Considering the role of our doctors in building a healthy society, the government has decided to give Non-Practicing Allowance as per the 7th CPC. This will come into effect from 1st January 2023 and its estimated annual financial implication is approx 10 crores.
