UP Constable Recruitment: Process to be completed by the end of next year, know when notification will be issued


Candidates preparing for competitive examinations in Uttar Pradesh are eagerly waiting for recruitment to the posts of constable. Recruitment is going to be out soon for 26,382 posts of constable and firemen in the state. The date of issuance of notification for this recruitment to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has not been announced yet. However, according to various media reports, the Chief Minister of the state has been directed to complete the recruitment process for 40 thousand vacancies in the police department by December 2023. In such a situation, it is expected that UPPBPB may issue notification for the recruitment of 26,210 post constables and 172 firemen by the end of this month or early next month. What can be the math of the number of vacancies:
According to the state rules in constable recruitment, the benefit of 21 percent reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC), 02 percent for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 27 percent for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 10 percent for Economically Backward Classes (EWS). can be given. Therefore, it is expected that in the recruitment of 26,210 posts of constable, 5504 seats for SC category candidates, 524 seats for ST category candidates, 7076 seats for OBC category candidates, and 2621 for EWS category candidates. Seats can be reserved. Also, in the recruitment to be held on 172 posts of firemen, candidates can be given reservations on the same pattern. However, complete information in this regard will be revealed only after the release of the notification.


Who can get the chance to apply and what will be the selection process:
In the constable recruitments conducted so far in Uttar Pradesh, 12th pass candidates with a minimum age of 18 years and up to a maximum of 22 years have been allowed to apply. On this basis, it is expected that UPPBPB can also allow 12th pass candidates between 18 to 22 years to apply in this year's constable recruitment. On the other hand, if we talk about the selection process, then the candidates who will be included in this recruitment will have to first take part in the written examination. After clearing the written test, candidates will have to appear for document verification and physical measurement test (PST), and physical efficiency test (PET).
