Kali ghat: Kali ghat is known for kali mata and is one of the best holy places for Kolkata people. They pray to kalimata with great devotion. It is said that kali mata is the Mother of Kolkata city. This is one of the 52 holy Shaktipeeths in the country since the 15th century.
Belur math: If you are in Kolkata then don't miss going to Belur Math. This is an important pilgrimage that was established by Swami Vivekanand in 1938. The temple is dedicated to Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi Swami Vivekananda, and Swami Brahmananda.
