If you are fond of cooking then definitely try this dish once. When the vegetables are exhausted in the kitchen or if you are very hungry, then the dal dhokli is ready in a hurry. Also its taste is amazing. This recipe can be made in both lunch or dinner. The most important thing is that with this there is no need for any other thing like roti or paratha, rice. Ingredients for making Dal Dhokli
One cup of tur dal, 50 grams of peanuts, one teaspoon of mustard seeds, cumin, a pinch of asafoetida, whole red chili, eight to ten curry leaves, one onion chopped, tomato chopped, one teaspoon ginger garlic paste, Turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, jaggery, salt to taste, lemon juice, finely chopped green coriander.

Ingredients for Dhokli
Wheat flour, turmeric, red chili powder, ajwain one spoon, salt to taste, oil.

How to make Dal Dhokli
Wash the tur dal to make dal. Now add two cups of water along with one cup of lentils in the cooker. Add peanuts and a spoonful of oil together and cook for three to four whistles. Mash the dal. Heat ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida and cumin seeds to it. Also add whole red chillies and curry leaves. Then fry chopped onion in it. Also add tomato and garlic-ginger paste. Now add boiled dal in it. Add a cup of water together and mix it well. Mix together turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder. Lastly, add jaggery, lemon juice and boil the lentils again.


How to prepare Dhokli
To make Dhokli, mix wheat flour, turmeric, chilli, carom seeds, salt and a little oil in a vessel. Then knead this dough. Roll out this dough into a round shape. If you want, you can also cut it into diamond shape. Now put this dhokli in the boiling dal. Now cook this dal with dhokli and mix it with all the spices. Serve hot with green coriander.
