Necessary ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati rice (cooked)
- 2 tbsp tamarind pulp
- half a cup of water
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 whole red chilies
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp sugar
- Asafoetida
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- half tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste


-Heat oil in a pan and sprinkle red chillies, mustard seeds and asafoetida.
-Add peanuts, urad dal and chana dal and fry on low flame.
-When golden brown, add cooked rice, salt and all the remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes.
-Take off the flame and serve.
