Shradh Paksha continues. During this time people prepare various dishes to satisfy the souls of their ancestors. If you are also thinking of making something sweet for enjoyment, then we have brought you the recipe for making Rabri Malpua. You can make it in 45 minutes.


Ingredients for Rabri

Milk - 1 liter

Saffron - 1/2 tsp

Sugar - 225 g

Pistachio - 1 tbsp

Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Almond - 1 tbsp

Ingredients for syrup

Water - 300 ml

Sugar - 500 g

Saffron - 1/2 tsp

Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Ingredients for Malpua

Maida - 150 grams

Powdered Sugar - 2 tsp

Khoya - 170 g

Water - 280 ml

Fennel - 1 tsp

Ghee - for frying

Rabri Recipe

First, heat 1 liter of milk in a pan and bring it to a boil on low flame. Then you have to add 225 grams of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon saffron, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1 tablespoon pistachios, and 1 tablespoon almonds, mix it well and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Remove the rabri to a bowl and keep it in the refrigerator to cool for 1 hour. Your rabri is ready.

How to make syrup

To make sugar syrup, mix 500 grams of sugar and 300 milliliters of water in a pan. Then add 1/2 tsp saffron and 1 tsp cardamom powder, mix well and boil for 7-8 minutes. Your syrup is ready. Then keep it aside.


How to make Malpua

If you want to make malpua, first make a soft mixture by adding 150 grams of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoon sugar, 170 grams of khoya, 1 teaspoon of fennel, and 280 milliliters of water in a bowl. Now keep it to marinate for 30 minutes. Then make malpuas from this mixture. Heat oil in a pan and fry them well on low flame till they become crispy and golden brown. When it is fried, place it on tissue paper and pour sugar syrup over it. Now put it in a plate or bowl and garnish it with rabri, almonds, and pistachios. Your Rabri Malpua is ready. Enjoy it and serve.
