Paneer Fingers is a slightly different recipe from the typical Indian pakoras made with gram flour batter. The recipe uses panko breadcrumbs, spices, and a little egg wash to coat the paneer and then deep-fry until golden and crisp. Today we have brought its recipe for you.

Ingredients

500 gram paneer block

Other material

100 grams of plain flour

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves

½ tsp salt

1 tsp chaat masala

½ tsp chili

Egg wash

1 egg

1 tbsp milk

200 g panko breadcrumbs

Method

Mix all-purpose flour with all the ingredients for dusting.

- Cut the paneer into thick fingers or 4 square pieces.

- Dust in flour.

Make an egg wash by mixing the egg with milk.

Coat the paneer with egg wash.

- Shake and coat in flour and then pour in the egg again.

Coat with breadcrumbs and refrigerate until ready to cook.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the pooris till they become crispy.

- Serve with green chutney or tomato chutney.
