5 potatoes (boiled and mashed)

4 tbsp all-purpose flour

Half cup spring onion (chopped)


4 tbsp cornflour

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp garlic cloves (chopped)

salt to taste

½ cup water

oil for frying

Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, and fry it lightly.

Add half a cup of water and cook for 2 minutes.

Add refined flour and fry till its rawness is over.

Add boiled potatoes and fry for 2 minutes.

Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.

Mix green onions, salt, and cornflour and knead it.

Take the thick dough and roll it.


Cut it into a round shape with a medium size cutter.

Then make a hole in the middle with your finger.

Heat oil in a pan and fry these rings till they turn golden.

Serve with green chutney or dip.
