2 cups bottle gourd (grated)
1-1 tsp fennel powder and amchur powder
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
10-12 green chili paste
3 tbsp Green Coriander (finely chopped)
half tsp black salt
half cup wheat flour
oil as required
salt to taste

half tsp mustard
1 tsp white sesame
few curry leaves
1/4 tsp asafoetida
juice of half a lemon

In a bowl add grated bottle gourd, 2 tsp oil, ginger-garlic-green chili paste, amchur powder, black salt, salt, green coriander, fennel powder, flour, and water as required, and knead it hard.

Make long rolls with greased hands and cook in a steamer for 10-15 minutes.
When cool, cut into pieces.


Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and sprinkle asafetida, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and curry leaves.

Add the bottle gourd and fry it lightly.

Serve garnished with lemon juice and green coriander.
