Ingredients for making Lauki Idli
One cup of semolina, one gourd, grate it, half a cup of curd, salt as per taste, half a cup of water, oil, mustard, urad dal, one spoon, and red chili.

How to make Lauki Idli
To make bottle gourd idli, first, peel the bottle gourd and grate it. Then keep it aside. Now heat the oil in a pan. Heat oil in it. After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds to it. When mustard seeds crackle, add urad dal. Add curry leaves and red chilies together and fry. Add semolina to these spices and fry well. Switch off the gas and take off the pan. When the semolina cools down, turn it over in a bowl.


Then add water and curd to it and beat it. Keep it for about 20 minutes. After twenty minutes, add grated gourd and green coriander leaves to the curd and semolina solution. Add salt as per taste and beat. Simply pour this batter into the idli mold and cook it in steam. Delicious gourd healthy Idli is ready. This is a great dish for breakfast. Serve it with green chutney, coconut chutney, and sweet chutney. You can also prepare sambar together.
