Recipe- Make street-style veg momos at home like this, see the easy recipe!


Veg momos are steamed dumplings filled with vegetables. Momos have a very delicate steamed cover inside which are stuffed vegetables. Momos stuffing is made from grated cabbage, carrots, green beans, onions, garlic, etc. Today we have brought the recipe for these momos for you.



150 g grated cabbage

50 g chopped green beans

1 finely chopped onion

20 g green onion

1 large grated carrot

1 tbsp butter

200 g flour

salt as per taste

Half tsp oil

1 1/2 tbsp Ginger- Garlic paste

Half tsp Black pepper powder (Black pepper powder)



In a bowl, add all-purpose flour, a teaspoon of salt, and a little water at a time and mix it. Knead a medium dough. Apply oil around the dough and leave it. Cover the dough with a damp cloth or with a damp paper towel. Keep it for 20 minutes.

Put butter in a medium-hot pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 20 seconds. Add finely chopped onion. Stir for a minute and add finely chopped green beans, and grated carrots.

Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add finely chopped cabbage and cook for about a minute. Add salt, black pepper powder, and chopped green onions as per taste. Mix well and close. Let the stuffing cool completely.

After 20 minutes, check the dough, and before rolling, knead the dough a little. Divide the dough in half and roll it into a flat round shape. Cut into round shapes with a round cookie cutter.

Take out the round shape one by one and keep them covered. Take those circular dough pieces, and roll them thinly from the edges and middle. Now put stuffing in the middle and fold.

Boil water in a pot. Grease the steamer with oil and place the prepared momos on it. When the water starts boiling in the pot, carefully place the steamer in the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and let it steam for 13-14 minutes on high medium flame.

Take out the steamer from the bowl and let it cool down for 2 minutes. Serve hot momos with momos chutney.
