Recipe: Make delicious gram flour parathas at home in the rainy season


Required Ingredients

Gram flour – 1 cup

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Red chili powder – tsp

Asafoetida – 1 pinch

Onion (finely chopped) – cup

Chilli – 1 Green

Coriander – 1 tsp

Salt to taste

A little carom seeds

Water as needed


Method of preparation

First of all, mix gram flour and flour together in a bowl. 

Then add chopped onion, chopped green coriander, green chili, salt, red chili powder, carom seeds, and asafetida and knead it. 

The dough should neither be too soft nor too hard. 

Knead the dough half an hour in advance. 

After half an hour heats the tawa and put some oil in it. 

Then roll out the paratha and bake it on both sides on the Tawa. Similarly, roll many parathas. 

When the paratha turns golden on both sides, take it off the flame and serve.
