Gajar Ka Halwa is a traditional Punjabi dessert made with carrots and milk. Carrot halwa is delicious hot or cold. Eating carrot pudding in winter is more fun and today we have brought its recipe for you.


1 kg carrot

4 tbsp ghee

1-liter milk

250 g sugar

1/2 tsp cardamom powder



* Wash, peel, and grate carrots.

*Heat ghee in a deep pan, add carrots, and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.

*Then add milk, mix well and cook on high flame till the milk is completely absorbed.

*Then add sugar to it, mix well and fry till the ghee leaves the bottom of the pot.

*Add cardamom powder and 2 tbsp ghee, mix well and cook for a few minutes. Serve hot or cold.
