Idli - 10
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Onion Finely Chopped - 1/2
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - 8-10
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies Long Chopped - 2
Green coriander finely chopped - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Red chili sauce - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste
To make Masala Idli Fry, you have to cut small pieces of Idli in a vessel. After this, after taking a bowl, add red chili powder, salt to taste, red chili sauce, and turmeric powder, and mix all the things well. Now put the pieces of idli in this mixture and mix them well with the mixture.
Now take a wok and put some oil inside it and heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot, add the idli pieces and the mixture and fry them well with the help of a ladle. Then turn off the gas. Now take another wok, add oil to it and heat it, then add mustard seeds, chopped onions, cumin, curry leaves, and green chilies and fry all the things for a minute.
Now put the fried idli in this mixture and let it cook for some time. Switch off the gas after 1-2 minutes. Your delicious Masala Idli Fry is ready. Garnish it with green coriander leaves before serving.
