200 grams Dates (soaked in milk for 6 hours)
100 grams sugar
Half liter milk
2 tablespoons grated coconut
4 tablespoons desi ghee
1 tablespoon cashew nuts (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon almonds (finely chopped)
1 small tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp raisins
- First of all, take out the seeds of the date palm with a knife and grind them lightly in a mixer.
Then put ghee in a frying pan and heat it.
When it becomes hot, reduce the flame to medium and add the paste of date palm to the pan and fry it for 15 minutes.
When the date palm paste starts turning golden, then add sugar and milk to it and cook on low flame while stirring.
When the milk dries completely and the ghee starts separating in it, then add almonds, raisins, cashew, and cardamom powder and cover it after cooking for 2 minutes.
Dates Halwa is ready. Serve it hot.
