Recipe: Everyone likes carrot pickles in winter, learn the easy recipe


Necessary Ingredients

Carrot - 1 kg

Red chili powder - 2 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

Fennel seeds - 2 tsp

Cumin seeds - 2 tsp

Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp Dry

mango - 1 tsp

Raisins - 1 tbsp

Mustard oil - 300 grams (as needed)

Salt - 1 bowl ( as per taste)



First of all, take fresh carrots and wash them with water and remove their peel. Cut the carrots into thin and long pieces. After this, put chopped carrots in a big bowl and mix it well by adding turmeric and salt as per taste. You have to mix them well for some time.

Now put mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin, and fennel in a pan and dry roast them on low flame. After roasting all the spices for about 1 minute, you have to turn off the gas and put the spices in a mixer jar, and grind them coarsely. After this, put the spices in a bowl of carrots and mix them well with the help of a spoon.

After this, put mustard oil in a pan and heat it on medium heat. When the oil is well heated, turn off the gas and let the oil cool down. When the oil remains slightly hot, add it to the carrot pickle and mix it well. Put the pickle in a glass jar/jar. Now with the help of a spoon, mix the pickle with oil well. The carrot pickle is ready.
