Fried Rice is a very easy recipe that you can easily make at home. Today we are going to tell you about the recipe to make it at home. So let's know how you can make it.

Ingredients

1 block firm tofu

1 onion, chopped

1 cup mixed vegetables, chopped (I used carrots, French beans, corn, and peas)

1 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper

1 Tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp green pepper ki chutney

1/2 tsp minced garlic

1/2 tsp minced ginger

3 tbsp oil

salt to taste

Additional optional ingredients:

2 eggs

2 cups cooked rice

Method

Heat oil and add ginger and garlic. Fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add chopped onion and fry till cooked and soft.

- Increase the flame and add soy sauce and chili sauce. Fry for a minute. Lower the flame and add cubed tofu. Fry the tofu till it turns brown on most of the sides.

Add vegetables and some salt and mix well. Cook partially closed till the vegetables are cooked. Add black pepper.

You can stop at this stage and serve it with noodles or rice.

- Another step forward would be to make space in the middle of your pan and crack two eggs together. Do not touch it until the white part is partially cooked. Then slowly stir it into the tofu and vegetable mixture.

If you want to eat in a vessel, then mix in 2 cups of cooked rice. You can increase the amount of salt and pepper in this case. The rice will be light and perfect for a wholesome weeknight meal.
