Besan Paratha is an easy recipe that can be made with very few ingredients. It is a bit difficult to make paratha with only gram flour, so many people also add wheat flour to it. - Besan – 1 cup
- Wheat Flour – 1 cup
- Red Chilli Powder – tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Onion (finely chopped) – cup
- Chilli – 1 Green
- Coriander – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- A little carom seeds
- Water as needed
Method of preparation
First of all, mix gram flour and flour together in a bowl.
Then add chopped onion, chopped green coriander, green chili, salt, red chili powder, carom seeds, and asafoetida and knead it.
The dough should neither be too soft nor too hard.
Knead the dough half an hour in advance.
After half an hour heats the tawa and apply little oil to it.
Then roll out the paratha and bake it on both sides of the tawa. Similarly, roll many parathas.
When the paratha turns golden on both sides, take it off the flame and serve.
