-half cup urad dal and 2 tbsp rajma (soaked for 7-8 hours)
-2 onions (finely chopped)
-half cup tomato puree
-1 piece of ginger (sliced ​​into thin slices)

-2 green chilies (cut lengthwise)
-1-1 tsp red chili powder and garam masala powder
-4 tbsp butter
-half cup fresh cream (keep some for garnishing)
-salt to taste


Put 4 cups of water, soaked lentils, salt, and half the ginger-garlic paste in the cooker and cook for 2 whistles. Then cook on low flame for 20 minutes.

Turn off the flame.

Mash the dal when the cooker cools down.

Add cream and mix well.

Melt 3 tbsp butter in a pan, add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and onion, and fry till golden brown.

Add all the powdered spices, green chilies, salt and tomato puree and fry till the oil leaves the pan.

Add cooked lentils and half a cup of water and cook for 5 minutes. When it thickens, take it off the flame.

Garnish with remaining fresh cream and remaining butter and serve with naan.
