Peck started regular recruitment of 57 teachers, apply by July 11

Chandigarh. Punjab Engineering College, Sector-12, has given its green signal to the recruitment of regular professors. For this, the college has taken out online applications. The registration for this started on Monday.

The last date to apply is 11th July. Advertisement for the recruitment of 57 teachers has been released. Under this recruitment will be done for the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Regular recruitment is being done in PEC after many years. Punjab Engineering College was engaged in framing rules for the regular recruitment of teachers for the last two years. For the first time, the entire process of recruitment has been done online by PEC. Applicants can apply by visiting PEC's website https://pec.ac.in/jobs/advt-pec-recruitment-faculty-01-2022. The process from application to scrutiny of application forms will be online. According to the information, 23 posts of Assistant Professor, 19 for Associate Professor, and 15 for Professor will be recruited in PEC.

Only those with Ph.D. will be able to apply

This time some changes have been made in the rules of recruitment of regular teachers to be held in PEC. Applicants must have Ph.D. Must have passed M.Tech degree at Assistant Professor level with first class. Qualifications have also been fixed for Associate Professor and Professor levels. Its full details are given in the prospectus on the website. Apart from engineering institutes across the country, eligible candidates from IITs and abroad will also be able to apply for these posts. Peck has also fixed the application fee for the first time. The recruitment process will start after scrutiny by August.

Peck has two in Aerospace Engineering, five in Civil Engineering, six in Computer Science and Engineering, seven in Electrical Engineering, nine in Electronics and Communication Engineering, seven in Mechanical Engineering, four in Production and Industrial Engineering, five in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Four in Mathematics, four in Physics, two in Chemistry, three posts in Center for Management and Humanities are being recruited for the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate, and Professor.
