Ingredients for making pakoras

1 cup besan

1 tsp red chili powder

2 tbsp coriander leaves

1 potato

Water as required

Salt as required

1 tbsp coriander powder

2 green chilies

1 onion

1 tbsp corn flour

1 cup refined oil

Step 1

Take a big bowl. Add gram flour, corn flour, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to it. Mix all these ingredients well. Slowly add water to it. Make a paste by mixing this mixture.

Finely chop the onion and potato in a bowl. Cut green chili and green coriander separately. Once done, add green chilies, potatoes, onions, and coriander leaves to the batter. Mix it until all the ingredients are mixed well in the batter.

Take a deep pan. Put oil in it. Heat it on medium heat. Carefully pour a spoonful of the mixture into the pan. Deep fry it. Fry the pakoras in small pieces and let them cook by turning them in between.

Deep fry till golden brown from both sides. Once done, use paper to remove excess oil from them. Serve these pakoras with tea and green chutney.
