Necessary ingredients
-Semolina - 1 cup
-Curd - 1/2 cup
-Capsicum - 1
-Onion - 1
-Tomato - 1
-Oregano - 1/2 tsp
-Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
-salt - as per taste


Method of Making: 

  • To make Mix Veg Uttapam, first take tomato, onion, and capsicum and chop them finely and keep them aside in a bowl. After this, take semolina and add curd to it, mix the mixture well and after that keep it aside for about half an hour.
  • After the stipulated time, take the semolina mix and add salt and black pepper powder as per taste, and beat it well.
  • Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and keep it on the gas to heat on medium flame.
  • Put some oil on the pan and spread it all around.
  • Now pour the semolina batter from the middle of the pan and spread it like cheela. Now put chopped onion, tomato, and capsicum on it.
  • Let the uttapam cook for a few seconds, after that turn it over and roast it on the other side with oil. Put some chopped vegetables on this side as well. Roast the uttapam till it turns light golden. After that take it off on a plate.
  • Similarly prepare mixed veg uttapam with all the batter.
  • Serve it with curd or chutney.
