There are many programs that directly benefit the far-flung farmers to improve the economic welfare and support of the farmers of the country. For example, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and subsidized diesel program, etc. The government operates the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme to provide loans to marginalized farmers.

Farmers will be happy to know that they do not need to visit the bank for KCC after two banks make such a declaration. But till now not all farmers are able to use this facility. Let us know who will benefit from this facility.

With the help of Kisan Credit Card ie KCC, farmers of the country can take loans at very low-interest rates. It has many more benefits.

Federal Bank and Union Bank of India both launched a pilot program. Under this project, they have started providing KCC to the farmers digitally. Banks have announced that they will no longer require customers to visit their local branch to verify documents related to agricultural land.

Digitization of banks in rural areas has been given priority as part of the pilot projects. The Reserve Bank has started this project. In Harda in Madhya Pradesh district, public lender Union Bank of India has launched a pilot project. Federal Bank has also started work on this project in Chennai. According to the representatives of Union Bank, soon it will be implemented across the country.

As per the earlier government comment, farmers should adapt to the evolving technology. Farmers no longer need to visit the bank to verify their land documents. The paper verification of agricultural land will be done online by the bank itself.
