To mix

-100 grams gram flour

-half tsp baking soda

-1-1 tsp oil and lemon florets

-salt to taste

-4 tbsp sugar

-half a cup of water

-Few green coriander (chopped)

1-1 tsp oil, mustard seeds, and cumin

2 green chilies (cut lengthwise)

few curry leaves

1 cup water

Put salt, water, and lemon flower in a pan and make it lukewarm.

Make a batter by mixing this lukewarm water with gram flour.

Whisk together oil, sugar, and baking soda.

Put gram flour solution on a greased plate and cook it in steam for 8-10 minutes.

When cool, cut into pieces.


Heat oil in a pan, and add mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, and green chilies.

Add water and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour the chhaunk over the dhokla, garnish it with green coriander and serve.
