Paneer - 250 grams
Mawa (Khoya) - 200 grams
Milk - 1/2 cup
Cream - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Dry fruits - 2 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
-To make Kalakand, first take paneer and mawa in a vessel. Mash them well. If desired, grate them first and mix them well later. Now add milk and cream to this mixture of paneer and mawa. After this, prepare the mixture by mixing all these well. Now take a wok and put ghee in it and keep it to heat on low flame. When the ghee becomes hot, put the prepared mixture of paneer-mawa in it and fry it while stirring it with a ladle on medium flame.
-When this mixture mixes well and its milk starts drying, then add a cup of sugar to it and mix it well. When the sugar melts and the milk of the mixture dries up, add cardamom powder to it and mix it well in the mixture. Now turn off the gas. After this, let the fondant mixture cool down for some time. During this, take a plate and put a little ghee in its bottom and set the mixture of lightly hot fondant in the plate. Keep the plate aside for some time. When the fondant mixture is set, cut it into square pieces with the help of a knife. Your delicious Kalakand Barfi is ready. You can also store it in an airtype container if you wish.
