The Henley Passport Index, which ranks all 199 passports in the world, has ranked the Indian passport at 87 in its new world's most powerful passport list for 2022.
The top spot was occupied by Japan, the country's passport giving its holder access to 193 destinations. The index covers 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations.
Passport holders from India do not require a prior visa to visit 60 countries, including the Maldives and Fiji.
