High blood pressure can happen to a person of any age at any time. Bad lifestyle and stress are responsible for this disease. Nowadays the number of high blood pressure patients is increasing rapidly. According to the World Health Organization, about 1 billion people in the world suffer from high blood pressure. High blood pressure can be caused by stress, anger, pollution, obesity, and excessive salt intake.

People around the age of 30 may not recognize high blood pressure first and it tends to increase with age. As per medical norms, 120/80 is considered normal blood pressure. When the BP level exceeds this, it is called high blood pressure, although, in the present era, 130/80 BP is also considered normal.

BP is said to be elevated when the blood pressure is 140/90 or higher. Even 140/90 BP of youth in cities is not considered high. High blood pressure causes problems in the body and if not taken care of in time, high blood pressure can damage many parts of the body. If the blood pressure becomes 180/110 or more then the doctor should be contacted immediately.

If you are 30 years or older, high BP can cause frequent headaches. Young people with high BP often feel tired and weak. Youth constantly complains of chest pain, there may be difficulty in breathing, weakness in the eyes, and bleeding from the nose can be symptoms of high blood pressure.
