Ingredients for Shahi Matar
100 grams of fresh green fresh peas, 1/2 cup fresh cream, 2 onions which are made into a fine paste, 2 tomato puree, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, salt. According to taste

Shahi Matar Recipe
To make shahi matar, first, take out the skin of peas and boil them in salt water for five minutes. Due to this, the green peas will become soft after getting cooked a little. Then put oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it. Add asafoetida along with it. After tempering add onion and fry it. Fry the onions till golden.


When the onions are fried, add ginger-garlic paste. Add tomato puree it. When these spices start leaving the oil well, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder to it and mix. Add salt to it and fry well and add boiled peas. Cover and let the peas cook with the spices.

When the peas are cooked, add fresh cream and after cooking for a minute, turn off the gas. Serve hot with roti, and parantha.
