Health Myth: Can you lose weight even by eating food after 7 PM? Learn by clicking here!

Having your meals at the right time is a good thing, but very often it is not. Many people skip dinner altogether and go to bed hungry. While they believe it will help them lose weight, it actually does more harm than good. Late dinners are often linked to weight gain. Because of the fear of putting on those extra kilos, some people set a time limit to stop eating after 7 pm. However, this is a myth. Actually, your body is a machine that is burning calories continuously. The belief is that eating after 7 pm will make you gain weight or make you fat.

Eat your highest-calorie meal in the morning, what you eat is more important than when you eat it. Make sure you eat carbs in the morning or evening. Try to eat in moderation.

Make sure your plate is well balanced, with plenty of fiber, vegetables, protein, and healthy fats. Try to have a well-balanced diet so that you feel full throughout the day. Try to include more protein and fewer carbohydrates in your diet.

It is recommended to take short walks of 10-15 minutes after dinner to aid digestion and metabolism. Eat at least 3 hours before bedtime so that your body gets enough time to digest the food.

Avoid high-calorie, sugary foods such as ice cream and cookies. Fruits and whole grains are high in fiber and contain more vitamins and nutrients than sugary snacks. Don't wait more than five hours between meals to avoid nighttime hunger.

Some people are not so hungry in the morning and prefer a heavy lunch later in the day. If you prefer to go to bed feeling satisfied, it is recommended to have a light meal in the evening.
