Get rid of fungal infection

Mouthwash has strong anti-fungal properties. If it is used in the garden area, it helps in removing the fungal infection present in the garden. To use it, prepare a solution by mixing about 75 percent water and 25 percent mouthwash. Now put this mixture in a spray bottle and spray it on the infected areas.

Get rid of the smell

Sometimes there is a strange smell from the garden area too and that's why I don't feel like sitting there. In this case, you can get rid of the bad smell coming from your garden by using mouthwash. For this, make a solution by mixing equal amounts of mouthwash and water and apply it to the affected area. This solution will kill bacteria and other microorganisms so that there will be no rot and bad smell. Plus, it will give the place a fresh smell.

Disinfect garden tools

We use many types of tools while planting in the garden area. But taking care of them is also very important. It's a good idea to use mouthwash to disinfect garden tools. Simply dip them in a mixture of mouthwash and water for a minute or you can even spray mouthwash to clean them.

Control aphids

If you are looking for a chemical-free and safe way to control aphids, then mouthwash can be of great use to you. Simply mix equal parts of water and mouthwash and spray it on plants suffering from aphid infestation. If you want, you can also add mild liquid dish soap to this mixture. 

Make mouthwash fertilizer

You might not know it, but mouthwash can also be used as a homemade lawn fertilizer. For this, in addition to mouthwash, you will need Epsom salt, liquid dish soap, and ammonia. Mix them in equal quantities. Use it once every three weeks. Apply it to your trees, shrubs and foliage plants like hostas, ferns etc.
